Wednesday, 11 November 2026 – DAY 00 – Arrival in CAIRO
International arrivals will take place throughout today and tomorrow, with private transfers arranged from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival, Pilgrims can rest and take time to acclimatize after their journey. For those who arrive early and wish to socialize, we will walk to dinner at the Abu Tarek restaurant on Sharia Champollion (own expense) to taste the unofficial national dish called kushari. If the barriers have been removed, afterwards we can take a stroll along the banks of the Nile River.

Thursday, 12 November 2026 – DAY 0 – CAIRO
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: Optional Tour at 9.00am – walk to the Egyptian Museum across the road from our hotel, with magnificent displays of Egyptian artefacts. After lunch we take a bus to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation (NMEC) which attempts to encompass the entire sweep of Egyptian heritage under one roof including the famous Royal Mummies Hall. This features Seti 1 with his black smooth skin and Ramses 11 with his grey hair tinged with henna.

Friday, 13 November 2026 – DAY 1 – CAIRO
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: 10:00am visit to one of Cairo's vibrant markets, the famous Khan El-Khalili, followed by a welcome lunch with introductions and an Opening Talk by Catherine Ann Clemett. In the evening, the group will enjoy a relaxing Nile River dinner cruise, accompanied by traditional music and dance. Dress to Impress!!!!!

Saturday, 14 November 2026 – DAY 2 – CAIRO
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: An enriching exploration of Coptic Cairo, visiting some of the oldest churches in the city that reflect Cairo's deep Christian heritage, The Church of St Barbara, The Church of St Sergius & Bacchus and the Greek Orthodox Church of St George. We will also see the Hanging Church, the Coptic Museum and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. The tour continues to the historic Citadel of Saladin, an iconic medieval fortress offering panoramic views of the city. Within its walls, we will visit the magnificent Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, an architectural gem and one of Cairo's most impressive landmarks. This day tour provides a fascinating insight into the city's religious, cultural, and architectural history.

Sunday, 15 November 2026 – DAY 3 – CAIRO
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: A full-day workshop with Catherine Ann entitled "Seeding the Light". At lunchtime, Pilgrims will check out and place bags in the lobby. After the workshop concludes, the group will transfer to a new hotel located close to the pyramids, ensuring convenient access for the next stage of the journey. Dinner on a rooftop restaurant with glorious views of the Pyramids.

Monday, 16 November 2026 – DAY 4 – CAIRO – PYRAMIDS
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: The day begins with a special sunrise visit to the Pyramids, allowing Pilgrims to experience this iconic site in the peaceful early morning light. The visit includes exclusive private access to the King's Chamber, offering a rare and intimate opportunity to reflect within this ancient sacred space. Special Initiation inside the Chamber conducted by Catherine Ann Clemett. Later there will be a direct access visit to the Sphinx with a photo opportunity between her paws. There will also be time for camel and horse rides for those who wish. (own expense). Home in the middle afternoon for rest and shopping.

Tuesday, 17 November 2026 – DAY 5 – CAIRO – PYRAMIDS
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: It's an early start to include a visit to the Saqqara Pyramids featuring the Step Pyramid, one of Egypt's oldest and most significant architectural achievements, followed by a tour of the ancient capital of Memphis. We will see the Mit Rahina open-air museum houses and remnants of colossal statues, sphinxes and temples, notably the Colossus of Ramses 11 and the Alabaster Sphinx. Also, we visit the necropolis featuring the Step Pyramid of Zoser. Memphis and the necropolis were collectively added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
After lunch we travel to the Early Christian Heritage area of Wadi Natrun where there are four Monasteries. We experience a tour led by a local Monk who will take us to areas we wouldn't be able to access otherwise. Included is Deir Abu Makar (St. Macarius Monastery) famous as the Monastery where most Coptic popes have hailed from. In the nave, we peer through a trapdoor into the crypt where the Monks found relics claimed to be of St. John the Baptist. We are looking forward to asking the Monks if they know of any Essenes and Magdalene's in the area.

Wednesday, 18 November 2026 – DAY 6 – CAIRO → ALEXANDRIA
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: The day begins with an 8:00am guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), showcasing Egypt's rich archaeological treasures including the Treasures of King Tut. Following the 4-hour visit, Pilgrims will check out of the hotel and bring bags to the lobby, then enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, the group will travel by bus to Alexandria, stopping en route at Lake Mariout, traditionally regarded as the birthplace of Sar'h, Yeshua's daughter. Upon arrival in Alexandria, there will be a sunset visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. This is an incredible 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Pilgrims will then travel to the hotel for check in and dinner.

Thursday, 19 November 2026 – DAY 7 – ALEXANDRIA – CAIRO
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: Bags to Lobby then an early breakfast, followed by a private tour of the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of Alexandria's most fascinating archaeological sites. Grandmother Anna and many of the Essenes and Magdalene's are said to have spent a lot of time in this underground world. We then stroll along the Corniche to enjoy lunch and a visit to the modern Library of Alexandria, a tribute to the ancient world's greatest repository of knowledge. In the afternoon, the group will drive back to Cairo to check in to our hotel.

Friday, 20 November 2026 – DAY 8 – FLY TO ASWAN – ABU SIMBEL (EMBARK ON THE UPPER NILE RIVER CRUISE)
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: Bags to Lobby and after breakfast, we will fly to Aswan and travel by private bus to Abu Simbel, a scenic three-hour journey with opportunities to enjoy the desert landscape and brief stops along the way. Upon arrival around noon, Pilgrims check on to the cruise boat and enjoy lunch on board. In the afternoon, we visit the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples, masterpieces carved into the rock by Pharaoh Ramesses II and later relocated in the 1960s to protect them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. After the visit, Pilgrims can relax with afternoon tea on deck. In the evening, there is the option to attend the captivating Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel, a beautifully staged presentation that brings the history and spirit of this ancient site to life. Saturday, 21 November 2026 – DAY 9 – SAIL TO KASR IBRIM - VISIT AMADA - SAIL TO WADI El SEBOUA
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: Breakfast is served on board as the cruise sails early to Kasr Ibrim, where Pilgrims can view the ancient citadel from the sundeck. Once a powerful city high above the Nile, Kasr Ibrim now appears as an island due to the Aswan High Dam. After lunch on board, the afternoon is spent visiting key sites along Lake Nasser. Pilgrims will explore the Temple of Amada, built by Pharaoh Thutmose III and expanded by his successors; the Temple of Derr, a beautiful rock-cut temple built by Ramesses II; and the Tomb of Pennut, a rare Viceroy's tomb that was relocated to save it from flooding. After returning to the cruise, Pilgrims will enjoy a cocktail party followed by a vibrant Nubian show. Dinner and overnight on board.

Sunday, 22 November 2026 – DAY 10 – VISIT WADI El SEBOUA TEMPLE - SAIL TO ASWAN
Highlights and sites to visit for the day: Breakfast is served on board before an early morning visit to Wadi El Seboua, home to a collection of fascinating ancient temples relocated from their original sites after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Highlights include the famous "Valley of the Lions," a sphinx-lined avenue leading to the temple built by Amenhotep III, as well as the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Maharraqua. Lunch on the cruise and sail to Aswan. Dinner will be on the cruise and overnight Aswan.

Dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis, Kalabsha is a striking example of cross-cultural artistry. After the visit, guests will check out from their Lake Nasser cruise and transfer to their Nile cruise ship in Aswan, checking in before lunch. The afternoon is free at leisure for rest or an uber to anywhere!!!
