1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern all bookings made with Serendipity Tours Turkey ("we", "us", "our"). By making a booking, you ("the client") agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

2. Bookings and Deposits

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit as specified in your Proforma Invoice (typically 25–30% of the total tour cost). Your place on the tour is not guaranteed until the deposit is received and acknowledged by us in writing.

Full payment is due 60 days before departure unless otherwise stated in your invoice. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified. Prices include accommodation, ground transport, guide fees, entrance fees, and meals as specified in the tour itinerary. Prices do not include international flights, travel insurance, beverages, or gratuities unless explicitly stated.

We reserve the right to adjust prices due to significant changes in currency exchange rates, fuel costs, or government-imposed taxes. We will notify you of any price changes before your final payment is due.

4. Cancellation by the Client

All cancellations must be received in writing to info@serendipityturkey.com. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation.

5. Cancellation by Serendipity Tours

We reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of participants is not reached (minimum 4 unless otherwise stated). In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another departure date.

In the unlikely event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure — including natural disaster, political unrest, or government travel advisories), we will offer a credit note or, where possible, a full refund.

6. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients. We recommend a policy that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. We are not responsible for any costs arising from a client's failure to obtain adequate insurance.

7. Health and Fitness

Our tours involve walking on uneven terrain, archaeological sites, and occasionally steep paths. Clients should be in reasonable health and physical fitness. Please inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations before booking so we can advise appropriately.

8. Our Responsibilities

We act as tour operator and accept responsibility for the proper performance of all services described in the itinerary. We are not responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: flight delays, illness, weather conditions, acts of government, or force majeure events.

9. Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements

It is the client's responsibility to hold a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity beyond the tour end date) and to obtain any required visas. We recommend checking entry requirements with the relevant embassy or official government source before travel.

10. Photography and Privacy

We may photograph tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any photographs used for marketing, please notify us in writing before departure.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Intellectual Property and Image Use

All photographs, videos, text, itineraries, and design elements on this website are the intellectual property of Serendipity Tours Turkey unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, modify, or commercially use any website image or content without our prior written permission.

Unauthorized use may result in content takedown requests, legal action, and claims for damages where permitted by law.
